Free Walking Tour at Fort Huger set for March 16
A Free Walking Tour at Fort Huger will be held Saturday, March 16, Saturday, April 20 and Saturday, May 18 at Fort Huger in Smithfield.
The event will start at 10 a.m. all three dates.
According to a press release from Isle of Wight County Museum, "Visitors to Fort Huger are invited for a free walking tour of the site to learn the significance of this gateway to the Confederate capital. Led by local historian Albert Burckard, this tour will last approximately one hour."
Tickets are not required and the event is free.
Fort Huger is at 15080 Talcott Terrace, Smithfield.
