Forest fire fighting program to meet at Carrollton Library on Dec. 8
A program called Science Saturday: Forest Fire Fighting will meet from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8. at the Carrollton Library.
Staff from the Department of Forestry will teach attendees how fire spreads and how to prevent them.
The Carrollton Library is at 14362 New Towne Haven Lane.
The event is free. Registration is not required.

The Carrollton Library in Carrollton is one of the branches of the Blackwater Regional Library. It opened in 1984. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Thursday and Friday, noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
