Carrollton Library to hold forest fire science class Dec. 8
Carrollton Library will hold a Science Saturday: Forest Fire Fighting class from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8 at the library.
Presented by the Virginia Department of Forestry, the free class will teach participants methods to prevent fires and fire spreads. The event will feature gear and tools used to fight forest fires.
The library, a branch of the Blackwater Regional Library is at 14362 New Towne Haven Lane, Carrollton.
Registration is not required.
