Souper Saturday fundraiser set for Oct. 13

Souper Saturday, hosted by IOW Christian Outreach Program, runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Smithfield.

The meal will include soup, ham biscuits and desserts. The event proceeds will pay for heating costs for those in need during the winter months.

The event is open to the public. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for school-age children.

Trinity United Methodist Church is at 201 Cedar St.
